While this backpack blower isn’t going to replace a professional quality name brand unit used by landscapers or in other commercial applications, it also is nowhere near that price point either. Looking at it as a homeowner with a good-sized piece of property to take care of, it is a good fit. The overall build is solid and it has good features that make the job comfortable. It is relatively lightweight and the straps and backplate fit me well and I don’t get fatigued using it. Very important to me, the 2-stroke engine is smooth, not crazy loud, and it starts without a significant effort. I really don’t want to wear out my arm before I get started on the job. The grip control is in a good position, and it performs in a logical manner. The blowing tube is nicely balanced, and I am able to hold it and direct it without my arm tiring. The blowing power is excellent, and it is definitely the strongest leaf blower I have ever had. We have a long and wide driveway, about 1/4 mile long and blowing it off is not a bad task with this backpack unit. I used to get quite tired with my handheld gas blower. It is all the difference in the world to me being able to use this more effective tool. I like this backpack blower, and I definitely recommend it for a homeowner or other occasional user.
