Used Planner to thin down fence boards for a gate. Works great for light duty work with soft woods. Blades shipped with unit are not hardened steel. Would buy again for my application.

Sets up easily. The finish quality of the cut is pretty good. The stand is pretty light, but it was included so it’s good. The controls are light, but functional. Very good for the price.
