Customer Reviews for 1.5 Gallon Vacuum Chamber and 3.6 CFM Single Stage Pump to Degassing Silicone

I use this for stabilizing wood for knife handles with Cactus Juice from TurnTex.The clear lid got tiny fractures on the inside the first time I used it. The pump runs flawlessly for up to 5 days. I’m on my third batch of handle material and it’s working great. No handles on the pot though.

Was using it to make time lapses but the plexiglass got all kinds of spiderweb cracks after ten or so uses. Not broken just no longer a good window for my camera.

I read a lot of reviews on this. Just READ THE DIRECTIONS AND CHECK OUT SOME VIDEO OF IT ON UTUBE before you start and you will not have an issue. It works great everything I turn it on. Always check the oil and check your valves,

Good unit but I had to return because it didn't suit my needs. Would recommend.

If you are new to mold casting, this chamber will serve you well. I believe even experienced casters will find this to be an excellent chamber.

I have to ding the rating because my pump could not achieve the advertised high vacuum. Not sure if there is a problem with only my pump or if I need to invest in a two-stage pump to get a faster water evacuation. Perhaps another user could tell me if their pump works better.But I am reluctant to return this product because I think that the vacuum chamber alone is worth the investment. High quality stainless steel with silicone seals and I could use the pot for cooking when I don't need the vacuum.

Gets the jobs done. Some smoke as others noted. But easy to setup and quiet.

I really liked the directions with clear photos that were included with the vacuum chamber. Everything was simple to put together. Hoping the pump works. I have yet to try
