Great Extractor for the price

I had a hand-crank extractor that I paid almost double of this extractor. It is a great unit for the price. The only issue is it wobbles before the weight of honey helps stabilize. Solved that problem by bolting the legs to a square of 3/4" plywood. You can't go wrong for the price.

We were very pleased with this honey extractor. It worked well and was easy to clean up. Highly recommend. Very sturdy and well thought out and really like the variable speed motor. A really good product.

Easy to assemble, easy to use

I built a base out of 2x4’s to expand the surface area. It helps when the frames aren’t all the same weight. I used to do gravity extraction, that would take a week or more to clear the frames, this speeds up the time to a couple hours.

This extractor came very well packaged. The foam it was encased in and the box was a little beat up, but it did it’s job and protected the goods.As with many extractors, I was worried about it shaking. I mounted it on a dolly with casters and a 2x2’ piece of board. It hardly moved from its spot. I wish the legs were just a little taller so that a 5 gallon bucket could fit underneath, but that would probably contribute to more shake. I extracted 4 frames on my first use and got 12lbs of honey, very efficient.Easy to clean. I used Dawn soap and hot water and let it drain. The bees helped to clean any spills I couldn’t get to.It’s the perfect tool for a hobby beekeeper!

Nice little machine

I went with the electric spinner and I am so glad I did. I put a couple frames in and walk away for 10-20 minutes, come back and flip the frames around and repeat. Frames are empty and the Honey is gathered at the bottom. Works great

Great for the money!

This extractor has gotten me through a couple hundred pounds of honey over the last two seasons. I'm happy to say it hbas stood up to the test and come out on too each time. Easy loading, easy spinning. Keep in mind: if one side is loaded heavier than the other, it will wobble like crazy! Bolt the machine to some 2x4's or something similar! The legs aren't the most sturdy, so I fear them may eventually give out, but I will use it until that day comes and figure something out!

Love this thing. We used to have to hand crank to extract the honey, several people and sore arms and shoulders. Now it's so much faster and easier with this. Also, one person can do it all and never get tired or sore from cranking. Machine is easy to use, easy to clean, stores well. Highly recommend it, make your life easier and get one.

Great First Time Extractor

I owned this extractor and used for 2 years. I've extracted around 4000 LBS of honey with this. I finally out grew this extractor. For a beekeeper, extracting 100s of pounds, this will work great. The motor is powerful. When using, make sure you bolt it to a big piece of plywood. Also every time you use it, lube the hole that the bottom post of the cage fits in. you can use vegetable oil, only like a 1/4 teaspoon. The only problem is the vibration will start to crack the feet. Easy to reinforce with flat stock steel. This probably won't happen for a small operation. Like is said before, I have extracted 4000ish pounds with this. Great price

Best bang for the buck

Price aside this extractor has been reliable and helped me harvest over 6 times without issue. It has doubled my volume from more time consuming manual extractions. Please make sure you mount/beace the bottom when in use and ensure you balance the frames. No including the price. I was not able to find another motorized extractor at this price. They were all more expensive and in some cases hand crank. Based on my volume I dont need another but if I grew or needed a replacement, I would buy it again.
