I just received and opened the box and I must say I am very impressed with the packaging. I bought this to replace a higher end Scottsman commercial unit that has given me problems the entire time I have owned it. Scottsman did not stand behind their product, so after that experience I am taking a chance on this company / product.The only thing I wish it had was a place to hold the ice scoop inside the ice bay. The blue light is a very nice touch. I like that the controls are not behind a panel and that the filter is easy to get to and clean.If I don't post a followup know that this little machine is doing its job and we are happy.

I purchased this for our weekend camping trips so I would not have to stop on Friday evenings to get ice. It makes better ice than any of those road side ice houses. I keep the thickness at +2 and the ice will last 3+ days camping. I have already told people that we camp with about this machine can't beat it for this price. DQ

A little overpriced works ok

I purchased this machine and it arrived quickly. The install was a breeze. It makes ice fast enough to make up for the smaller tray than my last one had. The features are awesome. A great value. I recommend highly. ... LMH

Update: Worked for about 18 months. Now, makes ice, but sometimes. And then melts away whatever it makes._________________This item is not NFS approved, so don't go by the word commercial in the name. That is just branding name, which could be anything. But it works, and looks at home with commercial all stainless steel kitchen equipment, so I may keep it. Let's see if the town will allow me to use it. If not, I will return.

Ice machine meets our expectations. The only problem we have is when you open the door ice falls out on the floor. Other than that one issue we are extremely pleased with it and would certainly recommend it.
