Instead of buying a nice one at over $1,000 this press provides incredible vallue

It arrived in a huge nice wood create and I didn’t realize it would be this big and heavy. This press is heavy duty. I’m impressed, will just need somebody to help me move it.

This press is built to last. I have it mounted to my workbench and it effortlessly cuts through 8oz leather with a good cutting die.

I bought this to help me leather press some brass stamps to my leather/hybrid watch band. it works, i dont have to hammer 10+ times anymore lol and I can work during night time. Now i can do that its original use of leather cutting to create patterns lol. The price and quality rating as a 4 because of course i would want it cheaper lol. It cheap compared to other leather tools that can go for $1000s. I think it can be become event greater one of metal piece was slightly fractured. i notice if pressured to hard, it loosens up a bit.

For the money, it worked great and with a few small modifications, did exactly what we wanted it to do. Cut through leather quite nicely.

Update: See video. All better!!You can see my video for my full review. In short: This is an incredibly heavy, incredibly durable machine. It’s going to be a fantastic press: Once it works. :-(Out of the box, there was a small metal tab missing from the crankshaft that allows the bearing to turn and press the plate down. But since that bearing is not there, the entire plate comes down lopsided and at an angle. You can see it missing in my video.No instructions, which is fine. It’s simple enough to figure out how to assemble it. The screws are on there tight but you can loosen them with some elbow grease. It comes with a wrench that works for the screws. It also comes with a white press mat so you don’t damage your dies.Planning to contact the seller about the missing part. Will keep this updated.

For the price this is great. It doesn’t stamp evenly, but if you find the right spot it works well.

This really stepped up my productivity. Makes my leather working to the next level. Highly recommend it made very well and I’m sure it’s going to be with me for a long time.
