I’m very happy with this flip line. I am an amateur tree trimmer. Basically I am a home owner with 4 coconut trees. This thing is solid. I have trimmed my 4 trees with this and it worked great. High quality construction in my opinion. I love that the actual flip line is a steel cable. This is a no brainer for the professional tree trimmer. But for the average joe who wants to trim his own trees, the steel cable may not seem that important. It most certainly is. My old flip line was just heavy duty webbing. I accidentally cut my old flip line with my chain saw and fell from the top of one of my trees. I walked away from that one. Probably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever done, I’m lucky I’m not dead. I was going to hang up my tree spikes and let the pros trim my trees. But, you know what, you can’t live in fear. I figured I would thank God and learn from my mistakes. I found this thing and I’m pretty confident that it will keep me attached to the tree. I am now committed to buying high quality safety equipment and I feel that this flip line is just that, a quality piece of safety equipment.

I haven't had a lot of time to use it but the swivel on the double lock looks sketchy to me , like it was done on a Friday 5 min before shift ends , hasn't killed me........yet

I dislike the connection Caribener for slip slide. Caribener not large enough and locking mechanism is akward to use with one hand.I like that the latch on the other side can be operated with one hand. Have used it at it's full extension and it flips up the tree easily.
