Older reviews mention that the motor is not a 60Hz (USA) unit, but rather 50 or 55 Hz and runs hot. The unit we received claims to be 60 Hz, which is promising, but it still runs really hot. About 20 minutes of run time and it was at 62F over ambient, but it stayed there and didn't continue to rise. Other than that, everything works rather well and this is a great buy for the money. We plan to keep running this as-is and look for a new motor should it burn up eventually.

Oil Skimmer works perfectly in our machines and absorbs excess oil with great efficiency. Will definitely purchase more in the future. Shipping time was very fast got to our location faster than we expected.
