Great suction pad, better quality than others designed for occasional use
I got this because you never know when you might need to do some glasswork. It’s all good for getting a grip on other smooth surfaces. This is the nicest one I’ve owned. I do projects involving glass and mirrors but it isn’t my profession. This is great for me, using it periodically. If you plan on using it even once a week, get a professional quality one. But, for those of us doing such things sporadically, this is perfectly acceptable quality for price. The only thing is that often you want at least 2 suction pads for glass as it helps you keep it under control vs just one where it can swivel easily if it’s off center. While this seems like it could be 2, it only comes with 1. The case is cheap but plenty adequate for this.

A must if you are working with mirrors, glass, or other smooth flat surfaces
I am doing some remodeling in our bathrooms, and part of that is removing and re-hanging a couple of old mirror panels. One is 30\"x43\" and the other is 24\"x30\", and they are only held to the wall using the little plastic clips and screws. Even with help, removing these glass panels is tough. With this suction handle, it was so much easier. Following the instructions, I placed it on the mirror and used the pump on the handle to create a vacuum. When the vacuum was sufficient, I was able to have my son hold the mirror while I removed the old clips and screws, then gently and securely remove it from the wall. After repainting the wall, we marked the area for the mirror, installed the lower clips, lifted the mirror panel back into place, and installed the rest of the clips. Worked like a dream. This was the one thing I was worried about, but this made it so easy. The suction handle comes in a blow molded case that is solid and will protect the device well. It is substantial feeling and works great! Definitely a must if you will be working with any large, smooth, flat pieces of glass, mirrors, paneling, and other things of that nature.

Super strong
I got this to help me move large panes of glass and acrylic around. It's not always that they are heavy, but sometimes they are just awkward to get ahold of when they are wide. This suction cup with handle is a game changer. It's incredibly easy to use. You place against a flat surface, pump the suction cup by depressing a button on the end of the handle, and lift away. I first attached it to my sliding glass door just to see how easy it was to use and how well it held on. I gave it a good pull and it felt like I was more likely to break the glass than the suction power. Removing it is even easier. There's a tab along the edge of the suction cup that pulls up easily and it breaks the suction. This is a great tool to have around.

Nice suction and a hard case is always appreciated.
No assembly, limited prep, simple operation. Pressing a plunger extracts air from within the suction area and there's your seal. This is a passive suction cup, as opposed to an active one with an electric air pump. As such it's hold performance will always be in a state of decay and this is typical of all suction cups that are not continuously maintaining vacuum. So you can count on it to lift per spec, but not to hold indefinitely. Weight and surface condition greatly influence hold duration. This is my second Vevor tool, the first I got about a year ago and its still working perfectly.

Impressive!
I use suction cups to position heavy materials ... plexiglass panels, glass plates, metal sheets. They're also very handy for pulling dents out of sheet metal. So I was pleased to receive this very well-made suction cup made by Vevor, and to see that it's protected by a solidly built plastic, blow-molded carrying case. It will become a valued part of my shop gear and travel kit, I'm sure.

Great Tool...great price.
We've got a glass kitchen table and the glass weighs about 150lbs. It sits on top of this elaborate designed table base. Even though the glass seems to seal pretty well, there always manages to be some cat hair, dust, or wayward gnat that finds itself under the glass. Every time we have to clean it, it's a very unnerving task of having to pry the glass up and clean underneath it. I constantly have visions of the glass splintering into a thousand shards, cutting us into ribbons. Being able to now put the suction cup on one side and lift is a game changer. This is going to make our cleaning chores THAT much easier. Honestly speaking, if you look at this suction cup, how it's designed and how they built it, it seems very under priced to me.....just sayin'.

Glass Suction Cup Works Well on Flat Surfaces
I ordered this glass suction cup to try to pull a dent out of the side of my car. I think because it is dented that it cannot get a good grip. I was hesitant to try it, but I'm going to let my auto handyman give it a try. It definitely stuck to a flat surface when I gave it a try.
