Bought this mag drill to drill quite a few 1-1/4" diameter holes through 1/2" mild steel plate. So far the drill is doing really well and the annular cutters are holding up. I cant figure out how the coolant tank is supposed to feed into the shank of the drill, so I just hold the end of the tube right at the base of the cutter to keep it cool and lubricated. Looking back I might have benefitted from purchasing the variable speed version, but I have no regrets with this one.

Ok magnetic drill. Purchased to get me through a specific job. Used the drill chuck with hole saws. Got the job done but when backing the hole saw out of the work piece the quick release chuck came loose too often, dropping the drill chuck, adapter and hole saw. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the drill chuck adapter or the quick release mechanism. I haven't tried any of the boring bits that come with the drill press to see if their arbor adapter does the same thing. All of the boring bits with this machine are metric. I would have preferred to buy just the machine without the metric boring bits.

I really like this drill. It is small and light, yet powerful. And the quick-release chuck for the annular bits is a terrific feature. Only disappointment is that it doesn’t come with a carrying/storage case.

This drill works great and is a big time saver for me when drilling steel plate. I have recommended this drill to many people . Also the price is wright for most people.

Worked very well. We used it to drill horizontal holes through vertical plates 1/2" thick 9 feet in the air off scaffold. The weight was ideal and it worked great. Unlike other very heavy brand name units the weight on this was a plus and did not seem to affect the quality.

I expected this Mag Drill to be cheap limited use tool. Turns out I was incorrect. I basically bought the bits and received a Mag drill for free. I thought great deal! Turns out I was wrong. It was a fantastic deal!!! This drill is solid. I have a solid drill with quality bits that cut with a machine finish. I almost feel bad I got such a good deal. I look forward to seeing what other quality items I can dig up from Vevor.

Reasonably priced and operates as it should. Strong magnet holds it to the workpiece, and Apple power to get through thick material..

Good value. I saw a similar unit at A Grizzly, and it was over $700 without any cutters. This unit worked well in mild steel.

I’m in love with the drill and the uses I’m able to do with it. Pros. Drills as it should, cuts precise holes too. Easy to set up and operate. Cons. Missing parts out of the box. No chuck key… one of the annular bits was used as well and the machine. Certain tools were not accounted for. I wish it had a stop lock up feature to make it easier to change tools. All in all it’s a great addition to my tool room!

This is a very nice unit built with quality. The magnet is very strong. But the drill motor is weak. It struggles to spin 27mm annular. The motor control tries to compensate for insufficient torque and it pulsates slow fast slow. I need to spin 2 inch annular and am not optimistic it will work, when I get a cutter. Needs a brushless motor with more torque.
