Although I haven't thoroughly tested the unit yet, as I just received it today, so far I'm impressed. One feature that I really like is the fact that even if the on-off toggle is in the off position, pressing the On button on the remote turns the unit on. Also, when the unit is off, it appears to have zero battery draw. I had planned on mounting the unit remotely, and using a 250A circuit breaker to energize the unit, but since it draws zero from the battery this is no longer needed. I also like the size of the unit. Since I'm mounting it on a boat, probably under a cabinet in the cabin, I like the fact that it won't take up too much room in the cabinet. BTW, the short battery cables that come with the unit are too low a gauge to use with a 2500w inverter. I guess they would be ok for super low loads, or to use to test the units operation, but not for running high wattage devices. Hopefully longevity won't be an issue.
