I truly don’t understand the poor reviews. People need to read and follow the directions. I now have four and they have been awesome. Mine are not in the wall but on the floor. Always remember the first temp is the actual vent temp of what is coming from A/C or Furnace. It is Not the temp of the room. You whole house Thermostat is that control. The second is what you set the unit to stop the forceful blower to disengage. The third is for what is off and fourth is the blower speed of the small unit. Always remember to go back to the number one (vent temp) so the light will turn off in five minutes. Otherwise it will stay on. These little fan vents work awesome win the upstairs of my house where certain rooms are always too hot or too cold. Especially my walk in closet. I won’t have to have a small heater in there anymore. Even if they only last a year or two- who cares? These are little fans that run a lot. By the units when they are on sale. I already bought two more as backups. At night set the fan to 6- then it’s not loud. I put it to ten during the day with 90 degree days. I have four and not an issue with the remotes.

Was pleased that this vent fan was easy to install and did exactly what it was supposed to do. I just hate that on the day it arrived( ordered 4) and was installed, went to order 4 more for the rest of the rooms and the price had doubled!! So sad cause I really like the vent fan but can not and will not pay twice the price less than a week later.

We have a couple of places in the house where the air flow wasn’t all that great. This has helped push the air so that every room felt great and has helped the our electric bill. I will say just make sure that you have the right measurements.

It takes a few minutes to get the settings right, but after that it just works. They could add hysteresis, that is, when the temp is right at the set point, where the fan should come on, the fan will come on, turn off, before coming on and staying on (over the course of a few seconds). However, I'm using this off-purpose. I opened it up and flipped the direction of the fans so it exhausts rising hot air through a loft window when my AC is on.

My room faces west and gets the late morning to afternoon sun and always gets really hot. I was using a fan by a vent, but it was not really pushing the cool a/c air out enough. I saw this vent fan and thought for the low price, why not? LOVE IT!! I have a good size bedroom with vaulted ceiling and I noticed the lower temperature within a couple of hours. I keep it on the highest fan setting and do not think it's loud, but I also like the white noise of a fan to sleep. I have not had a chance to try this for better heat in winter, but hope it does the same to keep the room warmer in winter. I may buy one of these for a finished attic room, but need to see if the vent size is available for that room.

These are a game changer in my house. I have a one-story building with a flat roof and it heats up but these fans (I bought 2) really pull in the air-con and keep my main living area cool. I've recommended them to several people who have also bought them and are loving them.

Using to help cool a large 2nd-floor bedroom with a single vent over a hot garage. It doesn't blow as hard as I hoped it would but it still helps quite a bit. Just a little extra fan power to help pull up and disperse the cooled air makes a difference of maybe 3-5 degrees.
