Im bending steel and pulling against the rotational base .. can that lock hold the pressure which is about 500-1000 lbs of pressure without letting go or is their a pin that will lock it????
So far it has handled everything I have thrown at it .I am really impressed with this vise . Only down side is my vise is mounted on my welding table outside and it has already started to rust on the jaws and anvil. Was really hoping for a longer lasting outcome.
I wanted to Mount a Vice on my welder. This is Just what I needed. Not Too big, not too small. I put receivers on both sides of my welding trailer and made a mount for the vise. Now I can work on either side of my welder or remove it completely.
If your looking for a decent vice for not an outrageous price I would recommend this one. So far I have no complaints for use of the product. The only reason I didn't give it a five star is because it uses a hollow mounting base vs a solid one.
