Did not work......AT ALL
Hooked it up and it did nothing. Waste of my money. Wish I never would have purchased. I wound up getting a rather expensive paper weight. Too bad thats far from what I needed. Needed a motor and instead received a non-working piece of junk.

Works as good as the higher priced units, at about 1/2 price. Didn't need 4 speedsbut I wired it to run on high #4.

Great replacement motor
I'm so glad I found this motor. I used it to replace a 4 speed GE motor that was used for my Carrier AC unit. Wiring it was very easy and the motor puts out much better airflow than my old motor did. I ended up having to buy a separate mount to fit the motor to the housing, but it still ended up being much cheaper than replacing it with the same motor I removed. Considering performance and price, you can't beat this motor.

DIY ac motor replacement
Have you been replacing capacitors yearly only to smell burning electrical wires? Yep, probably your blower motor has gone bad… I replaced a 220v trane 3-speed 1075 rpm motor with this puppy. Even though i was left with extra wires (5-speed) it works great…nice universal fit. Only confusion i had was the wiring of the starter capacitor; my old motor had line voltage coming to one leg of capacitor then continuing to motor, while this motor has independent wiring for both. Anyway, take lots (and lots!) of pictures and refer to the wiring diagram on old motor vs new motor and you’ll be just fine.

Wire connection problem
I'm replacing the motor on my evaporative cooler, which is a 2-speed motor. This one from Vevor is a 4-speed, so it has additional wires. On my cooler there are 3 wires - black, white, and red. The red wire is supposed to put the motor into low speed. I've connected the black wires together and the white wires together. That leaves the blue, red, and gray wires coming from the new motor. I've tried connecting the red wire from the cooler to each of the blue, red, and gray wires on the new motor, but it will only run at high speed. I'd like to be able to run the cooler at low speed sometimes. Any ideas? Thanks.
