What are the silicone mats for?

This machine works excellent at a fraction of the cost of more expensive dehydrators. In my opinion, this unit has way more air flow and features than others. The stainless steel construction makes cleanup a breeze.

I love it!
I bought this food dehydrator because I wanted to start drying my own herbs for teas and vegetables. Setting it up and using it was easy. The only issue I have is that the door rubs when I close it. I looked into it and it seems to be a common problem. I wish I had done more research, but for now, it works fine. I just hope it doesn't cause any problems in the future.

This dehydrator is awesome! Here's why: Super easy to use: The controls are straightforward, with a timer and temperature dial. No confusing buttons or settings Quiet: This dehydrator runs really quiet, so you can have it going all day without it bothering anyone. Seems really well-made: The stainless steel parts look super solid, and the trays are dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. Dries everything evenly: This dehydrator has this fancy 360-degree airflow thing that dries all my fruits and veggies evenly. No more mushy spots! Plus, it comes with a bunch of extras like silicone sheets and recipe guides, etc. I wish it had more silicone sheets but I just ordered some on from amazon. Overall, I'm super happy with this dehydrator - Totally worth the money.

This works great. Very easy to use. The cookbook that comes with it is Chinese translated to English so be prepared for badly worded sentences that almost make sense. I wish the book had a better selection of herb drying. it is mostly dog treats and fruit.
