I like that this sits on top of the water bottles, but it doesn't seat very well. I'm going to make a collar from PVC so that it sits more securely. It hasn't fallen off, but it does sit crooked. Also, the top and bottom pieces like to come off when you're switching the bottle, and I've spilled some of the residual water in the unit. Another problem is the little filter/weight end of the hose doesn't fit inside all my bottles, so when I use just the hose, it leaves about 1/2 a gallon in the bottom of the bottle where it cannot reach. Finally, I think the display flashing is annoying, but I just turn it so it faces the wall (it is in my livingroom). Overall, I do really like it. It puts a lot of humidity into the air and competes with commercial style humidifiers I've used before that cost many times more.
