Designed and byuilt my own pregolo. These worked perfectly. The only thing I suggest to build it quickly. New wood is dry and swells over time do to moisture. This makes it harder to seat the wood. Otherwise they worked perfectly.
I had some concerns with these not fitting the 6x6 (5 1/2 x 5 1/2 actual) beams. To my surprise they fit really well. They actually measure 5 5/8 inside. Just take one with you when you buy material because not all will fix.
