These are very well built and I have no doubt that they would have done the job. Unfortunately for the post I was using they were just too small. Super sturdy though

The only reason I didn't give all 5 Star is the base cover that covers the nut could be a little taller with a open side to tighten the nut. Other then that great product.

These 4x4 post bases are Great. Much cheaper than the big box stores. They are made out of sturdy Stainless so no rusting, the thickness is heavy duty, approximately 1/8 inch and all holes look to be laser cut. They come with all the fasteners that you need. With that said, I knocked off one star in "easy to use" because they didn't come with a center hole for fastening. I drilled a 1/2 inch hole but they are stainless steel and that took some effort. They do come with slots that make the bases adjustable but I needed that center hole. Also, if you are setting these into concrete you will need someway to drill holes into the concrete but the wedge anchors are included. Over all Great bases at a Great price
