Just got my Vevor 8-cup Grind and Brew. Was a bit disappointed when upon opening the box, I saw that the plastic carafe handle was broken. Having had a Breville Grind and Brew in the past, I can say that the Vevor machine is definitely cheaper in all respects, e.g., about one third the cost but also feels like the plastic parts are flimsier and less durable, the forementioned carafe to the filter parts, etc. The other aspect that I dislike is that the bean hopper can not be removed from the machine making it harder to change beans if desired. Lastly, I don't know why the user supplied water level is independent of the number of cups to brew setting, meaning you could specify 4 cups of coffee, but if you add eight cups of water, all of the water will be used, making the coffee weak, since only 4 cups worth of beans were ground. I'll update this review once the machine has made a week or so worth of coffee.
