I have 3 of these and have been very happy with their performance, price and quality. Because I bought 3, there are detachable mounts and fixed mounts for each, I had fixed mounts 1 so I used the detachable mount for an area not used as much but I can move one there when utilizing that area more. It has been very helpful.

Solid buy

Works great. Mounted on my garage ceiling. Adjusted the return cord so my head doesn’t bump constantly. Works like a charm. Small light let me knows the power is on and ready. Rubber smells a little funny but it will go away with time.

Works well

I installed this on my garage ceiling. It does have the full length of cord and easy to pull down and reel back up. The only trouble I had was the mounting. The mounting bracket requires screw spacing wider than 3.5”, meaning a 2x4 is not wide enough for mounting. I had to use lengths (6”) of 2x4 cross screwed to mount bracket. Once the bracket is secured, inserting the reel was simple.

Never Received Item

Never received item, Vevor was very difficult to deal with, countless emails back and forth. You can not talk to someone on the phone to try to resolve something. Thank goodness i used PAYPAL, they resolved my problem in 2 days, after dealing with Vevor for 4 weeks.

I am a 62 year old master electrician since 1990. I am impressed with the over all construction of the retractable cord. I purchased it because of the 12 guage wire the cord is made of. Typical cords are 14 or even 16 guage wire. According to the NEC 12 guage is rated for 20 amps. 14 is rated for 15 amps and 16 guage is rated for 10. At 62 feet long you want the bigger guage wire to avoid any voltage drop issues. I like that the tribtap end lite up letting you know there is voltage present.
