I used this to connect my portable air-conditioner to a window but place it in the other side of the room because it's my bedroom and I don't want the loud noise of the running portable air conditioner beside my bed, next to my pillows. This is a good quality INSULATED (the hose supplied by my air conditioner manufacturer is not insulated) flexible hose which will keep the hose cool to the touch and my room comfortable and use less energy running it. It is 25 ft long so more than enough for most rooms and can be easily trimmed to the exact length that you want. Just pay attention to the diameter needed for your machine, cooler or air conditioner, it varies from 4 to 10 inches and they are all available in the same listing. If you need an insulation duct/hose, this one is good quality and with the different diameters available and the 25 ft length, this should serve your need fine and you will like it.
