I was initially torn between the clamshell and swing-away models, and after using this one, I really regret not going with the clamshell. The suction cups are completely ineffective—they don’t provide enough grip to keep the machine from lifting off the table during use, which is both frustrating and dangerous.
Additionally, the rod on the back severely limits the types of clothing you can press, particularly thicker items like hoodies. It’s a major design oversight that makes it difficult, if not impossible, to get a clean press on anything bulky.
Overall, this model feels poorly thought out and lacks the stability and versatility you'd expect from a heat press. There are some significant design flaws that seriously impact its functionality. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient machine.
