Noisier than our last countertop nugget maker but works fine. One annoying aspect is that if the water level gets low enough to trigger a shutoff, the ice maker will not start again (even if the ice melts into the water basin) unless the door is opened and closed. So if it’s been a number of hours since opening the door, sometimes I find water in the basin, but no ice in the basket. The last maker I had would check the basin water level periodically and restart if enough ice had melted. I do like that the water can be filled without removing the ice basket. Time will tell if it makes it past the 18mo mark where most countertop pebble ice makers die
