Drop in replacement for a much, much more expensive shallow well pump. Easy to install, worked perfectly when primed and started. Very impressed in this product for the price point.

used only a couple of times and the motor burned. it worked Ok the first couple times, got hot after about 15 minutes during the third use, then it stopped, and a smoke. bad quality

Bought this for my house as we have something similar outside to pump water into a holding tank. It's quieter than my old jet pump and appreciate the extra power. The only problem I see is that the threads are a bit loose and tape wasn't enough. Perhaps it's not designed for iron pipes? Anyway, I just put caulk around the threads and let it sit for a couple of days.

I ordered this pump late on a Saturday night. It was shipped on the next day (Sunday) and arrived to me on Thursday morning. I had it hooked up and running by mid-day working like a charm. It was well packed, came with sealing tape for the threaded fittings, I already had everything else ready. I am pleased with the entire purchase and receiving and so far the operation is spot on. I have a flow well with water coming to the surface all the time. Was able to tap right into the well head and take my house off the city water, losing that 80$/ month and having better water. I'm going to make the system self sustaining switching it to solar/generator from the flow of the water, so it wont have to consume power from the power comp. I'm gonna buy get another pump or two. One for backup and one for a second supply tank. Awesome purchase and I will make more...

Lacks and informative manual

Fortunately, my common sense allowed me to adjust the shut off pressure to 45 psi by turning the nut clockwise. It came with a setting of 15 psi Max.

Great pump very powerful, only thing is every time i get this pump the delivery is bad!! Pump came with a dent on the pressure switch, luckily i had a spare. They should try packaging with a little extra foam for shipment. Not their fault but could help with delivery to customers. Will order more when needed, and at the price i may just order another as a back up.

No Technical Support

We manually put in a well. We needed to know how much flow the pump would sustain at various levels so that we'd not overdraw the draw-down cone created by the pump's suction against the geology of the ground we were working in. Vevor does not have pump curves reflecting flow and suction.
