When I first received this pump, I could see there was a couple repair parts I will need in the future for maintenance. Called Vevor, I may as well been talking to a wall. After I installed it, I noticed a leak from the little weep hole above the by-pass valve, contacted Vevor, yeah that's right, may as well been talking to a wall. I now believe all the negative reviews about Vevor are legit.

As many other have reported, this item is absolute junk. I bought 2 and one was broken right out of the box and the other is slowly failing 2 months later. This company provides ZERO support and does not stand by their items at all. The best support could do is offer me $20 for the issue and I'm out the rest of the money. This is the last items I will buy from Vevor.

So far so good. Really smooth and quick flowing. I bought it to replace a hand crank and it is a world of difference. It didn't come with the extension for the 55 gal drum but i got that at Grainger for $16. I think it is a game changer.

Fuel pump.

I have had this pump for about 6 months. Works just as good as a great plains or fill right. At a fraction of the cost. Not sure about life exceptions. Is a little louder than other brands but still a great deal.

I just finished this install on to my gas caddy. the tube inlet is 1 inch as stated , in-fact 1"NPT. how ever the gas caddy has a fine thread and a straight thread to boot. I considered cutting the threads off at first but then I thought what will I loose if I just rethreaded it to 1' NPT so I did and it works great. I only applied a normal wrap with Teflon thread tap. No leaks yet. One more thing you should use a self shutoff gas spigot. I found that the manual is a bit to slow to prevent a pretty wasteful over fill. I recommend this as a solution to the manual crank pump as long as you are comfortable doing some rather easy modifications, and you have a friend with pipe threading tools, or even yourself.
