Item is good quality.Our kids were questionable as to "what is this dad" {LOL}As today's kiddos are more into high tech gatchets and special effects stuff.This ground them and after we showed them what it is about, they totallyenjoyed and continue to create goodies from Christmas ornaments + itemsfor or their pals/buddies/family .. .From Valentines to Saint Patrick's Daydecorations, trinkets + craftsalong with wall art and mementos to give away totheir friends, family and classmates.So refreshing to spend time doing old school crafts together :)Would recommend to anyone wanting to do something together withtheir kiddos that is relatively inexpensive, fun and safewith no high tech involved - just unplug when done and no worries!

Great range of tips, great range of temps. The two tool combo is fantastic. The temperature control is a bit finicky, which is a little irritating but still workable. I'd rather do without the little stickers on everything that are already half falling off when it arrives, making a good product look of lesser quality than what it is. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this product. Burn pens were a nightmare that damaged a few projects, whereas this was a joy to use.

Took a little getting practice on some scrap wood, ended up with great results for burning my signature on wood. I am VERY pleased with my first project and the thermostat is useful for various materials.

Adjust temperature of the pen. Keep the normal temperature range in gray area, do not turn to red area as excessive temperature will reduce the pen’s service life even burn out other units. Appropriate adjustment of temperature is very important, normally the pen is in slight red will be okay.
4.Voltmeter :
Pen’s temperature is adjusted by adjusting the voltage.
Range: AC 0~110V
5.Pyrography Pen Socket & Plug :
Tightly connect the socket and plug to avoid loose contacts.
Note:
Please soak the sponge and then wipe the tip in order to avoid high temperature burning the sponge.
