Strong and bright. Perfect for deck railing. Shipper dropped it so the spool was broken. That made it pretty hard to work with, but thats not the fault of the cable.

Best to cut the cable with a thin kerf "grit wheel"... and angle grinder. Easy to work with.Use the proper aluminum crush ferrules for terminations and loops. All works well.

Excellent reliable purchase

Our deck is very small, so removing the builder-grade balusters and replacing the steps with wider ones was the first step toward updating and improving our deck. I watched several online videos to learn how to install stainless steel cables, and bought turn buckles and eye lag screws to install the cable.The most difficult task with this cable was actually cutting it. Cable cutters did not work, bolt cutters did not work, so I ended up buying a hydraulic cable cutter on Amazon which finally gave me enough "umph" to cut each cable length. I recommend taping the cable before each cut to keep the strands from splaying (I used electrical tape, as it stretched and was easy for me to get tight to keep the cable from unravelling).The product itself is very high quality, the seller shipped fast, and it just took me awhile to gather the rest of my materials for this project. However, I am so happy with how it turned out! Hubby is also pleased!

We actually did not know how this cable was configured. This clearly said it was cable railing. That is what it is, this is not ,good cable if you are looking for a cable that needs to make a lot of tight turns with but it is great for long straight runs. Very strong, and corrosion free. Very affordable.

This cable railing worked great! least expensive option when you are doing your own handrails for a deck.
