Bought this and did not open until I completed my new workbench, the first thing noted is there are no instructions for installing the vise and no template for drilling the holes. When I placed it on a flat surface to make a template noticed it was high in the middle and rocked back and forth, I ground done the surface to make it flat. I looked fro and found an installation video on YouTube provided by a customer of Vevor not Vevor. I t would have been extremely difficult for me to install this if this video was not on YouTube. It seems to be a good vice after modifying and installing, Vevor should provide a template and installation instruction with every vice or at least a link to instructions.

Good quality finish, reasonable screw action. Only complaint is that the moving jaw leans out considerably so when you close it, the clamped piece is only touched at the very bottom. To compensate I had to either machine my 5” tall face board 1/4” thinner at bottom than top or mount under my workbench at a slope. I chose the latter by putting shims under the far end of the mounting bracket. Easy fix but not planned for originally. It does rack like other vices of similar design. A 7/8” dowel fits perfectly as a handle.

It's great, great size, perfect price, delivered quick and works better than the cheap table I have it mounted to.

I have a small hobby shop. I was in need of a face vise. I have searched high and low for a good Inexpensive vise for my bench.. Found this after I purchased a couple of Vevor's router planes. Easy install, works like it should. I had some scrap beech 2x4 pieces I used for the jaws. Very happy with this purchase and have been recommending Vevor to my friends and family. Keep up the good work. I will return.

I needed a vise that opened wide enough to hold 8x10 boxes and was quick release... This does what I needed and for a great price... Installation was quick and easy... Very pleased...

This vise is built very well and the price can't be beat anywhere. If I had more room in my shop I would have more of these. Very useful!

Good product!

A lot of setup needed to get this working, mostly because of my work bench not having a long enough open spot so can't fault this for that issue. However, it doesn't come with a handle to turn so you need to figure that out for yourself which is a fault. That's really about all I've run into so far though. It is pretty solid looking and feeling and everything turns and works properly without any surprises there. If it had a handle it would be 5/5 across the board.

I wanted a good quality wood vise at a reasonable price, and that's exactly what I got. This vise is perfect for what I want it for. The only thing I can say that's not great, is the packaging. The box is too weak to ship this in, it had holes in both sides and some of the mounting screws were gone. Thankfully none of the bolts and nuts that are part of the vise were missing. If Vevor is reading this you should put this box inside another box until you can make stronger packaging. Other that that it's great.
