I chose the Velor 1100 lbs. 3-in-1 electric hoist because it appeared to be well built and reasonably priced. I liked that it has both a wired and wireless control. Free shipping was also a positive factor for my purchase. I received the hoist quickly. I tested it with no load attached and it works properly. I intend to use it to move heavy items (jukeboxes) to/from my basement through an exterior open access entrance which has removable stair steps. I am confident it will serve me well.

Works as advertised- easy to operate and looks great in the shop. Lifts with ease and it's not too noisy, and the hand-held remote is a great add-on. I'd buy another if I needed one.

Perfect for what I bought it for. I use it on the end of my jib crane , mounted 14 feet high. I use it to hoist items to the upper pallet rack/shelve. Would buy again, and will use on another jib crane, or gantry lift.

These Electric Hoists ( Electric Pulley ) are fine for intermittent lifting or pulling tasks - I used one to remove an 860 lb Transaxle from a Backhoe-Loader and move Transaxle into shop for Overhaul. Be careful if unit over heats ( smell or see smoke ! ) and let the unit rest for a while. Comes with a wireless hand held remote which is handy - you can hold onto the item you are lifting and push button to operate hoist a same time. You can hang unit from overhead support and use remote while you guide load. I also attached Hoist to a Vehicle as a Deadman and used hoist to skid / roll items over sheets of plywood on soft dirt.

Awesome tool! This winch allowed me to remove my fishing boat lift and 30 ' dock up and onto a 30% grade hill all by myself! Easy to hook anywhere and wireless control (highly recommend) allows you to stand anywhere and lift and guide. Fast shipping, great product, and great website.
