I purchased this item for a young carpenter doing work for me at my house. It is in exchange for some of his labor. He has nothing but praise for this planer. He said it is an excellent planer. The weight with stand makes it conveniently portable to job sites. The planed wood comes out smooth and even from one end to the other. He is excited to have it and to produce quality products with it.

Quite, easy to use, not accurate on measurements but accurate on the cut, just dont go by the scale on the side. Stand is back breaking.
