I am midway through constructing a 2"x72" belt grinder. Currently the 8" wheel is attached to a tooling arm on a 30mm axle bolt. It spins nicely by hand and seems true and very well balanced. At this point, I am pleased with my purchase and excited to put the wheel to work. I will review this wheel again, if necessary, after I witness the wheel being driven by the electric motor.

Wheel appears to be well made. Having a hard time trying to figure out how to get it on my belt grinder since the bearing ID is 30mm.

Works great on my 2x72 grinder

My husband ordered this wheel when he was making a contact wheel for a grinder to use when forging knives. He received this quickly and put it together (from plans he found online or from youtube) within a day or so. It has been a lifesaver when he “hallow grinds” the knives. It was almost impossible to do without it. The only thing he told me was finding the right size of bolt to fit was a bit difficult. Worth the money and a great product.

The only thing I didn't really like was the bearing size but my local industrial store had bearings for it, other than that it was balanced nicely and runs smooth on a Wilton square wheel grinder

Due to my own mistake, I ordered the wrong size bearing... but I'll make it work. That said, the wheel is very well constructed. It arrived quickly and in excellent shape. I will be ordering from Happybuy again!!

I just received it two days ago.Looks great. I haven't had any time to get it working yet.

Works like a charm with this on my belt grinder I no longer need a bench grinder which frees up some bench space

Decent quality just takes a while to find all the parts to make it work because of the odd size 30mm bearings.

Appears to be generally made well but it has issues. It’s not balanced even though it looks like an attempt was made to do so. The machining is sloppy, the aluminum was dumped to get the bearings to fit snug in the bore and the bearing boss isn’t centered. The outer wheel does run true or close enough for my purposes. It works but it’s out of balance enough that it makes my whole machine vibrate at certain rpms. Hard to do precise work like that.
