The motor was great along with the control module and throttle. I was not told when I ordered it that I would have to purchase individual items independently. If you want a brake light a key or a speed control you have to purchase them separately, I was unaware of this.

Depending on where u put the motor. If ur sprocket are facing your right side then you are good. But if your sprocket is on your left side. Then you switch some wire around. The big yellow wire and the big blue wire needs to be switch so itll be yellow on blue and blue on yellow now you must switch the wire from your sensor plug meaning the plug with small wire with red,black,yellow,blue and green. Switch the yellow and the green so yellow be with the green wire and green wire with the yellow. And thats how you reverse the motor

Motor and controller work great. The motor is fast but does not have alot of torque. Make sure to gear it down super hard. THE COLOR WIRES DO NOT MATCH. Thankfully they get the power cables right. But you will need to try all combinations with your motor phase wires and your hall sensor wires, 36 combinations. Also the controller will overheat if you leave it in an enclosed box. It needs a little airflow. You do all these things right it’s BADASS, super efficient and fun. Also check everything because I don’t think you can buy spares you have to buy the kit again. Have fun

Great motor for value and I will be using this in my mx650. It's a very powerful motor and very snappy and a blast to use.

Well packed, included all but the chain, assuming it must be being shipped separately because it wouldn't fit in the box.Was interested in seller's suggestions for battery and the possibility of adding heat sinks or fans to cool what my education tells me may be an under Amp. controller upgrading to the 50 Amp. controller may be the smart plan.Contact with distributor is not user friendly so far.

I've had this kit for nearly a year now. This kit is constantly fluctuating in price so you could get this for roughly $80 which is insane value. The motor is the real valuable part but the stock controller with the proper battery can be alot of fun too. I have it fitted on a razor mx650 which requires the motor mount to be removed. This can theoretically fit any project. With stock gearing and a 14tooth front sprocket and a good 48v battery i was getting roughly 27ish mph with a 150lbs rider. It was decently quick but throttle was very touchy. If you know nothing about wiring something like this, I'd suggest watching a video because it can be confusing if you don't know what your looking at. The controller can be upgraded easily to something like a kelly controller that is much smoother and is able to be programmed as well. My current setup is the stock motor and controller that this kit comes with but with the "shunt mod" applied which takes this kit to an absolute monster for the price! I have it paired with a 52v 20ah Eon lithium battery pack and it absolutely rips! It does 37mph with stock rear gearing and a 14t front. It gets there really quick and will pick up the front wheel at any speed. Overall, if you are willing to learn there is really no limit but your pockets. I'd strongly recommend this kit if you can get it for under $100. Good luck!
