I use this with a portable generator capable of putting out more than one kilowatt. I purposefully tried to overheat and could not. Great buy.

Very heavy duty/ heavy!

I was originally gave this cord a 1 star review because I thought that the female plug was defective because I couldn't get it to seat into the prongs of my outlet box. I borrowed a friend's cord and it slid right in. I was going to return the cord, but before I did that, I compared the 2 plugs and couldn't find any visual differences. I then tried again forcing it into the prongs with all my strength and I was finally able to get it to seat properly. I guess my suggestion to the manufacturer would be to include some instructions explaining that the plug initially has to be broken in on the 1st insertion.

Le recouvrement du câble est de bonne qualité et est souple , les prises mâles et femelles sont de qualité et une fois branchées tiennent en place solidement. La longueur est bien comme annoncée. Très satisfait.
