This easy to use Chimney cleaner is one on the best ways to avoid a Chimney Fire.One chimney fire can cost you thousands in chimney repair, not to mention allowing the fire to reach in to your home and risking life.As a retired Asst. Fire Chief of 30 years I strongly suggest not to burn wood that was cut less that two years ago.This allows the wood to dry completely and will help reduce creosote to build up in the first place. This drying process is call "seasoning" and is VERY important.Stay safe and wear your covid mask AND safety glasses!!

Great product, easy to use and kept me from having to get on a steep pitch roof to clean our chimney

I had a little difficulty at first, but going slow and easy it worked fine. Should have used plastic in front of stove to control the soot that fell from chimney.

This tool worked perfectly. Flexible rods went in thru the cleanout at 90 degree bend. Good purchase for me.

I had major doubts, but the product seems to do exactly what it is supposed to. I wish there was a template to help cutting the strings to fit the flue size (I cut too much off), but even with too short strings it banged around enough and was able to knock some big creosote chunks down. Overall I am happy with the product and excited to stay off the roof before the next burning season.

Does what it is supposed to do

I‘ve been looking for something like this for years. This performs as listed. I do recommend it as a safer alternative to climbing on the roof and cleaning the chimney.
