Items was well packed and delivery was fairly fast. DRO setup was easy and product works great, had to shorten one of the linear scales and all went well.

This was used to replace a DRO that no longer worked on my mill and it was easy to adapt to mine. Just drilled and tapped new holes in the casting using and indicator to keep each scale straight to its axis.

Good price and works really great. Takes a little time for instillation but it turned out really well. The only thing they need to let you know is that you don't need to order the scale sizes that they offer as a package. They have a lot of different scales sizes you can order separately that would fit your particular machine without cutting scales to fit. That would have saved me from cutting scales to size. Need some sales representation to talk to before ordering. But mine turned out well and works great.

Good DRO, Great Price
A great price on a DRO kit that includes 3 scales. Saved money by getting this kit for my PM-30'ish mill, and cutting the scales to fit, Actually, I only needed to cut the X-axes scale (cut down from the 750mm scale). Installation instructions leave a lot to be desired, but the operators manual for the DRO is very detailed. All the mounting hardware is included, but not very versatile. I ended up 3D printing brackets and spacers for a "better" fit on the scales. Build quality... no complaints. Display is large and clear, buttons are easy to read and use. Comes with a clear cover for the DRO. Powered from 110v outlet. Seems accurate for what I use it for (hobbyist). Although it could be much more accurate than what I am capable of measuring. On cutting scales, there seems to be two different methods out there. One where you take one end off the scale and cut the extrusion, glass and all. The other where you disassemble the scale, remove the glass and cut it separate. I used the latter method and had no problems. Although I did break a tap on one of the ridiculously small end cap screws. If I did it again, I would probably just epoxy the endcap back in place.

Good scales for the money
Purchased 170mm, 320mm and 520mm scales. Accurate enough for the typical hobbyist. Nicely extruded cover for the scales to protect from fluids, bet the included mounting hardware is nothing special.

Excellent value for the money.
As a home hobby machiinist with a serious addiction to making chips fly I inpressed so far. With reolution to .0002 it has been surprisingly accurate. I rely on it quite a bit now, less and less stoping every pass for precision parts to stop and measure, abd no more counting handwheel turns. When buying it comes with some generic mounting hatdware but its not all that great and remember you are a home machinist make the brackets and enjoy the time in the shop. My mill sees about 30 hours of use weekly so far this dro has been durableAlso remember when mounting the linear scales they are optical glass rods. Free travel with no binding or loading along with true travel and mounting parralel to the axis is very important. Replacement optical glass scales are on averge $200 per scale. This DRO with 3 linear scales is a great value.

A little fussy to set up, but works great
Installed in an afternoon. Most of the supplied hardware was of no use, but a few bucks at the hardware store and I was off to the races. As others have mentioned, the manual is almost useless. If you have some understanding of what a dro does, then it is good enough to fill in the blanks. Some of the buttons are abbreviated in an odd way (e.g. CTR for calculator), but it's not that big of a hurdle. Just remember that English is not this things first language.I had to set the resolution of the scales to 0.2 so they would read correctly. Out of the box it was showing 5 inches of travel per inch. That was a frightening 10 minutes, but everything checks out fine now.I haven't played with all the functions yet, but so far everything works great.
