It's better than I expected so I will say it's worth the money however when it arrived it had oil all over the surface of it messy they need to do a better job with the oil probably use less

Ok so it is a good price for a griddle. Especially if you are not sure if you are going to use it that much. It is actually fun to make stuff on it. I just wish it would heat up faster. You have to learn to turn it on before you even start getting anything else ready. Also because it don’t heat up fast.. it is easy to get ahead of the amount of heat it will put out. So don’t put too much on the griddle at once. It’s hard for the griddle to recover and get back up to temperature. I think a 220v griddle would be better if you have the means to do that. This is the only griddle I have so I have nothing to compare it to. I like it and it is a lot of fun and some of the little quirks makes it more interesting and gives it character.

The VEVOR 21" Griddle is an absolute must have. Perfect for homes, small businessnes, food vehicles/trailers, used in tandem commercially. Purchase one for whatever your needs may be. You will not regret it. I turn the VEVOR 21" Griddle on then begin my food prep. It has always been ready before I have finished. Asked for "electric" griddle but did not realize it would come ready for hard wire rather than have a plug.

Not giving an equal heating on the top. Cools down faster when you work with frozen Philly cheese steak

I've had this unit for about a year and it's been an excellent in the kitchen for the most part. It's not exactly a technical marvel or anything, but does what it's supposed to do very well. Unfortunately just after the 1 year mark the unit randomly died while I was cooking with it. After removing the bottom plate I discovered one of the cables had essentially burnt through itself. I'm working with support now and will hopefully get a replacement or some kind of repair kit. If you bought or intend to buy one of these, I would suggest periodically removing the bottom plate to ensure none of the cabling has started melting/burning.
