I have a very expensive name brand tumbler as well as a vibratory tumbler that I use for various pieces of jewelry I make. I saw this tumbler in use at a gem show and loved how it worked. With my $150 tumbler, getting it to not leak is a chore and just getting the lid on and off is a PITA. It also takes about an hour to properly tumble and burnish a silver bracelet.Due to the speed and the reversibility of this tumbler, it takes about 10 minutes to get the same level of polish, which saves me time and electricity. The lid is very secure and I haven't had a problem with it leaking at all.As for durability, time will tell. It came with an extra drive belt and an additional o-ring for the lid, so if one of those should break it should be fine.Overall, I'm very impressed with this tumbler and hope to have many years of good use from it.
