I disassembled it completely, wiped everything down and then reassembled. In that process I added COOLANT. This pump does not come with coolant in the main chamber that surrounds the actual pumping piston. However it is a MUST. I understand why they dont ship it with coolant, it could lead to disaster but there are youtube videos on how to add coolant for anyone interested. Just google.
