Absolutely love this little ice maker.Everything installed without a hitch. We bought this considering my hubby and I were buying ice every day at $2.50 a day per bag. With both of us buying 1-2 bags a day, it made sense to us to buy this ice machine. It will have paid for itself in about 4 months or less.... doing the math.We live in Texas, so it's HOT!If you buy this little bad boy, all I recommend is that you keep your filter clean. Don't get frustrated if you get a code, cause it may be something very simple. The manual looks like it was translated to English. I found the legible manual online..We have extremely hard water where we live. Just have to clean the filter more often than most.Also, if it isn't making ice, what happens is just move the ice away from the flapper. Give the flapper a little tap and it will begin making ice again. It makes ice really fast. We extended our drain line so it goes to my herb garden. Made things easy for watering.Again, we love this, and it is saving us a lot of money. We keep ours on the back porch covered and away from the elements of straight sun. Works like a charm!Don't pay attention to bad reviews cause this is an excellent product and worth every cent!
