Works Well
Works pretty well. It came with missing hex nuts for the water container, but I was able to get some from Lowe's to replace the missing pieces. The seller is not helpful and will just direct you to Amazon customer service if there is any issue. Otherwise this works well to distill water. The instructions are not very easy to understand but I went off of pictures of the item on here to be able to set it up correctly.

An Easy Way to get Distilled Water
The water tastes good, and it runs quietly during the night, so I have distilled water the next day to drink. The only challenge I had was attaching the handle to the glass dispenser. The online video did not help. Also, the handle is inadequate for size and weight when filled with water. The handle is flimsy and while dispensing water, one needs to hold the glass container with both hands. The rubber at the bottom of the glass container is protective on hard marble surfaces; that's a plus. Overall, I am satisfied with getting a distiller at a relatively reasonable price.

Well worth the purchase!
Absolutely worth the purchase. Wish I would have bought it sooner. Great tasting pure water. Working as advertised.

Good unit, bad instructions
The unit makes roughly a gallon of distilled water at a time. It is a great alternative when distilled water is in short supply. However, when you start putting it together and using it becomes painfully obvious the product is made in China. The instructions, while in English (sort of), are not very understandable. The instructions on the bottle of descaling compound are very badly translated from Chinese.

Great product. Easy to use
The unit is simple and easy to use and clean. Two points. One, you should clean the unit after every use. It keeps it clean and letting deposits grow after several uses will be very hard to clean. I put in just enough white vinegar to cover the bottom of the pot and add one drop of Dawn dish detergent. Let is soak 20 minutes and clean with a scratchless pad. Comes clean easy. Two make sure the spout on the unit is centered in the cap of the reservoir. If not water will spill out of the cap onto the lid and make a mess. I make sure it is centered and also put the unit on a silicone tray that can contain the spill, with a leak detector to let me know if this happens. I have distilled about six gallons of water without significant problems and love the machine.

Almost perfect
We are very happy with this distiller. It works fine. We are able to get distilled water at about 1/4 the store price. Of course, that's with Indiana electricity rates. One change that makes this MUCH easier to clean: This instructions say to just let this boil until the auto-shutoff which is to boil dry. This takes about 4 hours which is typical for a 750 watt unit. This auto-shutoff works just fine but leaves hard dry scale on the bottom of the boiler. They include a jar of citric acid crystals? as a cleaner but an easier solution is to set a timer for 3 1/2 hours and shut it off manually. After cooling for a while, this leaves an inch or so of water in the boiler and when you dump that out it washes the concentrated minerals out with it. Then you can do do a simple wipe and rinse of the boiler and avoid the scrubbing each time. This will yield slightly less than a full gallon each cycle but is well worth it.
