Does the job well. Takes a couple of hours to do one batch and it puts off quite a bit of heat in the process, but performs as expected. I'm glad I bought this distiller and I recommend it.

Worked as intended

This thing is great. I bought it because I have a cpap machine and was tired of having to purchase all the plastic distilled water bottles. I debated buying a more expensive one, but I am glad I went with this one. I set in on the floor in my kitchen under the window and put a small towel underneath. Unlike some of the other posters, I use the metal spout. It works perfectly and prevents any water splashing or dripping outside of the bottle. I use the water, not only for my cpap, but I use it in my coffee and tea pot and I am in the process of filling up 25 gallons of emergency water with it. I use this thing daily. It is a little loud, but it is just a soft fan noise and it is essentially white noise. It is very easy to use and is straightforward to clean. I can't say enough good things about this.

I'm only leaving a 4 star review for the moment. Though it seems to be working great. That sediment is from a single run. I didnt think our water was that terrible. Well it is. Hoping this unit is tough. I'll update after I've put it through it's paces.

Works as it states and will pay for itself in the savings of not having to buy distilled water from the store.

I received the distiller in a very timely fashion. Everything was as described, except for me personally it was a lot larger than I thought and I had absolutely no where to keep it, so I returned it. The seller was very quick to offer me a refund!

I bought this to use in my CPAP and to make Colloidal Silver. **READ THE ENTIRE DIRECTIONS as you need to put a small amount of water in it before you use the first time.** After doing the initial run through, I put about 3/4 of the blue plastic container with filtered water and it took about 6 hours to run its course. It shuts off when the water runs out inside, but I wouldn't let it do this all the time, or it may wear out the mechanical part of it. I just put the blue container in the fridge afterwards. Tastes good!

For years I have been bringing home bottles of distilled water for my cpap machine. I was bringing 5 jugs home a month. They took up a lot of room before and after I used them with the plastic gallon jugs having to be recycled. Now I don't have to hassle with the plastic and never run out of water. So glad I got this machine!

We've had this unit for months and still works great if you keep it clean inside. We've already paid back the cost of buying distilled water and the convenience of not going to the store for it.
