Since the pandemic it's been really hard to find distilled water, and where you find some, it's more expensive than ever. So now in less than 7 months, this distiller will pay for itself. Tip: While it does come with enough for a few months use, order some citric acid too to use to clean off the mineral deposits that will accumulate on the inside of the chamber rather quickly. I think it should be cleaned after every use. Especially if you let it run dry.

There’s really nothing to dislike it works so good and whenever you’re making distilled water, you wanted distill something else. It works so good. It’s unreal.

This is perfect for us, my husband needs a humidifier on all the time and buying distilled water at $1.25 a day was adding up, now I just make a gallon a day. Will say you need to be careful when cleaning it and not try to wash it out as the water is extremely hot and so are the sides.

I got tired of the content shortage of distilled water at the grocery store. I purchased this distilled water maker and have been happy with it's function. I've only made 4 gallons so far but would recommend that you not boil off all the water to make cleaning residual hard water deposits much easier.

Asheville couldnt get distilled water post Helene so I purchased and drove bottled water and this unit to them! They have been thrilled with how quickly they can make water for their Cpaps and have been making distilled water for co workers and friends in the same boat they were! The unit does a great job!

Works as designed, save on buying distilled water. A little bit more detailed cleaning required.

received damaged a month ago..base was crushed and cracked and will not stand upright thus unusable...cust service promised a new one but nothing yet...

I have purchased several of theses for family and friends!! This is a must have your water taste so clean I will not drink anything else. I will load up my thermos when away from my house becuase you can absolutely taste the chemicals in regular drinking water

It works. It's amazing how much gunk is left after evaporates, and it's not just calcium deposits, it's a dark goo.
