I purchased this 1 gallon Vevor Water Distiller 9 months ago, and have been using it daily to distill water for my humidifiers. I make 1 to 3 gallons of distilled water per day. My Vevor Water Distiller is a workhorse! When distilling water, I set a timer for 3hrs 57mins so I can turn it off before the reservoir runs completely dry. This helps to prevent mineral build up from burning to bottom of reservoir. Occasionally, I do miss turning it off in time and distiller will safely shut itself off when the reservoir runs dry. I also clean daily with white vinegar to remove the inevitable mineral build up by pouring about a 1/2 inch of vinegar on the bottom for water reservoir and briefly turning on for 1-2 min (without lid) to dissolve the mineral deposits on bottom. I then pour out the vinegar and wiping down the entire stainless steel interior with a soft cotton cloth, and it looks as good as new! Recently, it did start to leak a bit around the base of the lid. I noticed the silicon lid gasket had shrunk over time, thus the lid no longer had a tight seal. I was able to easily find and ordered a replacement gasket on Amazon. Problem solved!

Bought over a year ago & still going strong! I run it twice a day. It needs to be cleaned 2x week, but so worth it! I love how crystal clear my ice cubes are, tea and coffee tastes so much better! It’s pretty quiet too.

We bought our second Vevor water distiller to make distilled water for our CPAP machines and our steam oven. We use the water in anything that calls for distilled water. As I said, this is our second one. We use it next to our original one that we had purchased some years ago that is still going strond and has never let us down.

We have hard water where I live (usually runs around 130 ppm), so there are some things that I just don't want to use our tap water for (drinking water, water we use to make tea or other drinks, my husband's CPAP machine, egg incubator, our Keurig, etc.). I have a water tester, and the Vevor does give us water that tests as a 0! I do consider it to be an overall very quiet machine, and it usually runs at night while we all sleep. I do have to clean it once every week or 2 (running the machine usually once a day on average at this point), and I do NOT find the crystals or whatever Vevor sent to be effective. I do end up using distilled water with a hefty addition of regular 5% white vinegar or a smaller amount of stronger white vinegar, and that gets it very clean after letting it sit for 30 minutes or so. Vinegar is probably much easier to get access to anyway, so I prefer this method to the crystals they provide either way.

Love that it filters clean water!

Distilling a gallon of water while doing other things is convenient and easy to do. Just fill the resevoir, and turn it on. You will have plenty of distilled water ready when you need it.

I love this item. I am tire of buying five gallon of water and carrying it home.

Ordered this distiller because I was always going to buy distilled water for my wife to use in her plant humidifiers. This thing will pay for itself in no time, not having to constantly buy it by the gallon. Very simple to use and produces a gallon of distilled water in about 3 hours. Highly recommended for anyone that uses a lot of dist water that wants to keep it simple!!

In South Louisiana, had to buy gallons of clean water. Now make my own! Easy to clean. Low noise! Perfect size we keep in washroom!
