Couple of points. 1)As others have mentioned, you may wish to hook this up with a timer so that it doesnt "run dry".Yes the unit turns off on its own but it will solidify the sediment if it runs the full cycle , then cleaningbecomes a chore. 2)Next is the $$ issue; this unit took 3hr 45min to distill the 1.1 gallons at 2.9Kwh.Multiply that number by your local rate for electricity. 3) Do you want to drink distilled water as your mainsource of water? Not advised, so probably you'll want to add some mineral mix 4) In winter, there is some "bonus" to having the unit run in your house as the fan definately throws off heat. Thats good. However, no one has commented on the obvious nature of the fan evaporating some of the nasty chemicals, in the form of gasses, into the air of your home. Im not a chemist but this would seem to imply that its better to run this machine in your garage or similar space.

This distiller works really well. Did not like the plastic collection jug but I found a glass container that I already had that works just fine. It is a little effort to drink just distilled water but it is worth it. Everyone who buys this needs to stop it and look inside when there is about an inch of water left. You will feel so glad you are no longer consuming the gunk in the last inch of water. Good machine and totally worth the effort for super clean water.

Makes perfect drinking water!

The addition of a power toggle makes a functional difference. I can turn off power to clean inside between uses. The power cord doesn’t disintegrate like the other prior 5 units I have used in the past. I can use this devise with an electric tea pot without blowing trip circuit.

Love This Machine! I am a plant lady and have about 50 houseplants. Half of them prefer distilled water for roots/soil and 2 humidifiers that need to be refilled twice per day. This machine produces 5 gallons of distilled water for use per day. The price is right and I believe I can get a year or more out of the unit to do what it’s designed to do. We tested the water and it was very clean. You would be amazed to see what collects at the bottom of machine after a few uses. Tap water is dirty.

I purchased the Distiller in preparation for our future food shortage. However whe I received the product, my son needed distilled water for his business.(during the pandemic he couldn't fine the water) So I decided to practice using the machine by making him 5 gallons distilled water. It was easy, just set the machine and forget it. Now it will serve my family to purify our drinking water and give my son what he needs for his business. Thank you Vevor.

The distiller works great but the inside melted the button so it doesn’t work properly. Before the button melted it was the best purchase ever! It did the job I needed it to do and my plants were very thankful. Like I said, I’d buy another one if they found a way to ensure the heat from the machine can’t melt the plastic pieces…
