We have an RO water system, and we use the RO water in the distiller. The taste of the water is fantastic. It is very smooth and easy to drink.

I got this distiller because I use a humidifier and distilled water is hard to find in stores. The process is the easiest and I have saved a ton of money distilling my own. One full jug distills around one gallon of water. It takes about 4 hours. All I have to do is fill the jug, pour it in the distiller, put the jug under the spout, turn the machine on, and let the magic begins! I always let the water cook before transferring to another jug.

Was having a hard time finding distilled water and this has happened a few times. Recently purchased and LOVE being able to distill my own. No more lugging gallon jugs around. No more plastic. Now I have it for CPAP, plants, and humidifier. Easy to use. Quiet operatin. Affordable! Thank you!

It distills atleast 8 gallons per day. Great for my Humidifier.. Pure clean water...

So far distiller is working fine. No issues.

Unit looks and feels sturdy, not cheap. It distills water in just less than 4 hrs. We usually set a timer and shut it off at 3 hrs, 45 min. so it doesn't scald the bottom plate when the water runs out. This way there's 1/4"-1/2" left which we just dump out and there's no hard water deposit left there to clean. The water tastes good too.

Use to top off tanks and your TDS doesn't go up. BUT never use distilled water to do water changes without using something such as SeaChem Equilibrium to replace the minerals in the water otherwise your water will draw their needed minerals from your fish thus killing them.

The unit works well and produces a gallon of water pretty quick, but it is not clear where or how the charcoal filter packs (which came with the unit) work with the device. They don't seem to fit anywhere and I wish the instructions addressed that so I could use them.
