I've had this about six months. I distill about 10 gallons a month for water changes in my aquarium. At first I thought it was engineered by the loser in a third grade science contest but after I got used to it , it is not a problem. The on/off button does not work. That's not a problem. I plug it in, it comes on. I only used the automatic shutoff a couple of times and it worked properly. I use a count down timer in case the automatic shutoff fails and also so I can (guess) the shut off time (about 4 hours with cold well water) and set the timer a few minutes before all the water is distilled. That way it is easier to rinse between uses and the minerals are not burnt on so badly. After 10 gallons (it usually takes a couple of days) I use a descaler and it is sparkly clean.

Often distilled water is out of stock! I now have as much as I need for my cpap machine in a short time. I now use it in the iced tea machine and coffee maker too. I will be using it for an outdoor waterfall too

Working perfectly

Works great. A little loud but not bad, so I let work at night when I am at the other end of the house.

Only had unit for one week and I am very pleased with it's performance.It appears to be quieter than other distillers I've had and my wife swearsthat it takes less time to produce a container of distilled water.

Changed my tap water from 305 ppm to 4-5 ppm. Not bad. Water had a chemical taste at first, so I cleaned to bottom container with water and white vinegar and the water tasted great after that. The plastic container is toxic and not usable. Use glass mason jars. For the price, I think this machine is amazing and it is quiet. It also makes the water quite quickly. Would highly recommend.
