This bracket is a great price, fast shipping and heavy duty. Perfect for the 4x4 posts supporting my awning.

Very sturdy for your wood decking. The hardware that came with it was for concrete so I had to go buy the appropriate screws needed but overall a very nice product.

I haven't installed this yet, but it looks sturdy and should make for a sturdy post. I'll revise this if I find otherwise when I install this in the next week or so. NOTE: Some people wonder if plastic/pvc/vinyl post sleeves will fit over this anchor. The sleeve will NOT fit over, nor inside, this anchor if the sleeve is meant to contain 4x4 posts; it will fit *inside* this anchor if the sleeve is meant to contain two 2x4 laminated together. This arrangement will be acceptable to us (so we can reuse the sleeves we have from a deceased railing we had; we may paint the anchor white if we decide we don't like the contrast of the black anchor with the white sleeve.

perfect for my concrete mount posts. I did not use the supplied concrete anchors and went with galvinized congrete wedge anchors wich was much superior of an anchor. great value for the money versus simpson strong tie ones that are much more expensive.

We used these to build a fence on a concrete stem wall. Everything worked perfect. 3/8” drill bit on a hammer drill was perfect to setting these post brackets using supplied anchor bolts.

Putting up a pergola frame on our concrete patio. These are very nice and easy to use. 4x4 fits perfectly in these.

The product showed up 2 days later than I wanted and was originally promised would be my only complaint. These worked exactly as I had anticipated they would. Installed with a 3/8th 2 inch lag bolt to secure to deck.. I did not use any of the supplied hardware as it is designed for installing on concrete and not wood. Still strong and holds posts just fine as long as you use the right type of fastener to hold it to the deck. You could also use Hex bolts and put a nut and washer on the bottom side of bolt if that is your choosing.
