Very satisfied.
Thrilled to finally have this extension. Now I can pull the RV out of storage and work on all the systems with electricity on. I bought a separate cord holder from a garage / race car trailer supplier that held the entire length. Very satisfied.

This cord works great if you only have 50 amp service because of second air conditioner.
This cord works great. If you have 50 amp service because you have a second air conditioner, this cord will work for you. When you have one ac unit, everything runs on one 30 amp circuit. This cord gives you two 30 amp circuits (at least (10 AWG wire is rated 30 amps)) when plugged into a 50 amp plug. That's twice the capacity. If you have a big rig with a washer and dryer, this cord may not be for you as you may draw more than 30 amps on a leg or circuit. However, think of it this way. In your home, you don't need a cord that will carry 20 amps connected to your table lamp (which draws about 3 amps) just because the receptacle is connected to a 20 amp breaker. You only need a cord that will carry the current load required. The nice thing about this cord is the ease of handling. No more heavy lifting and fighting the heavy 6 gauge cord. I put an 18 inch, 50 amp camco pig tail on my trailer and used this 36 feet extension cord. I only have 50 amp service because I have two ac units. The loads should be balance from the RV factory on the two 50 amp circuits, ie, one ac unit on each leg or circuit. I hope this helps explain wire size of cords and current loads.

Works fine for currents less than 30A
Be aware, this is not a full 50A cable (it's only 10 AWG). At 40A it will generate heat and voltage will drop with ~10V and is considered fire hazard (see ampacity charts). So loss in cable would be 10*40 = ~400W. If you only use it for smaller currents (<30A) it would work fine. If you need a 50A cable (for sustained 40A currents at 80%) look somewhere else.
