I bought this to use as an extension cord for my MIG 175 welder (22 amps @ 240v) and it is great. Heavy duty, tough outer jacket, seems to be high quality. A pretty good value over trying to find 10-3 SO Cord from a home center/hardware store and the plug/receptacle and make your own. I couldn't make my own cheaper.

Worked as well as I had hoped it would . Gave us the ability to move our machines around the hole shop as well as out side .Would recommend for sure .The only thing is its hard to coil neat and stow as you would expect from a heavy cable .

I am giving it the full 5 stars because I love the cable. very flexible and high quality. Be aware though...this is NOT 600v STW cord as stated in the description. (this is made with 300v SJT cord). not a deal breaker because it is still a great cord just a wrong description in the add and buyers should know. Also note that it does NOT have the lighted end.
