Heavy duty, flexible, affordable, UL-marked.
It was cheaper and safer than making one from scratch. The very flexible cable, and the molded connectors, have the UL stamps and ratings on them. I didn't get electrocuted, nothing melted while arc welding, and I didn't set the house on fire; so, it's a win.
